Bob the funny Monster

Bob was a monster. But not a scary monster. A funny monster. He had green fur, purple spots, four eyes, two horns, and a long tail. He lived in a cave with his best friend, Spike, who was also a monster. But Spike was a scary monster. He had red scales, black stripes, six eyes, three horns, and sharp teeth. He liked to scare people and animals for fun.

Bob and Spike were very different, but they got along well. They liked to play games, tell jokes, and explore the forest. One day, they decided to go to the nearby village and see what they could find.

“Let’s go scare some humans!” Spike said excitedly.

“OK,” Bob said reluctantly. “But don’t be too mean.”

They sneaked into the village and hid behind some bushes. They saw a group of children playing in the park.

“Watch this,” Spike said. He jumped out of the bushes and roared loudly. The children screamed and ran away.

“Ha ha ha! That was hilarious!” Spike said.

Bob didn’t think it was funny. He felt sorry for the children.

“Come on, let’s find someone else to scare,” Spike said.

They walked around the village and saw an old lady walking her dog.

“Here’s another one,” Spike said. He ran towards the old lady and bared his teeth.

The old lady screamed and dropped her dog’s leash. The dog barked and chased after Spike.

“Help! Get this thing off me!” Spike cried.

Bob laughed. He thought it was funny.

He ran after the dog and picked it up. He petted it and said,

“Good boy! You’re so cute!”

The dog licked his face and wagged his tail.

The old lady came over and thanked Bob.

“You’re very brave,” she said. “What’s your name?”

“I’m Bob,” Bob said.

“You’re a very nice monster,” she said.

“Thank you,” Bob said.

She gave him a cookie and went on her way.

Spike came over and glared at Bob.

“What are you doing?” he asked. “You’re supposed to scare people, not make friends with them.”

“But I like making friends,” Bob said. “It’s more fun than scaring people.”

Spike shook his head.

“You’re not a real monster,” he said. “You’re too funny.”

Bob smiled.

“Maybe you’re right,” he said. “But I don’t mind being funny.”

He ate his cookie and shared it with the dog.

He looked at Spike and said,

“Do you want some?”

Spike sighed.

“OK,” he said.

He took a bite of the cookie and smiled.

“It’s not bad,” he said.

Bob hugged him and said,

“You’re not so bad yourself.”

They laughed and went back to their cave.

They were still different, but they were still friends.
